Open Door Support Groups

Network of Strength Network of Strenght Open Door Meetings provide a supportive and safe environment for women who have experienced breast cancer to express themselves and listen to others discuss breast cancer.

A breast cancer support group is forming at St. Augustine Catholic Church on Signal Mountain by Breast Cancer Network of Strength.

Join the "Close-Knit" Group

A breast cancer support group is forming at the Downtown YMCA by Breast Cancer Network of Strength.
Participants of the group have the option of learning simple knitting techniques and creating hats for others in chemotherapy treatment.

Come for the peer support and give a little warmth to someone else!

A study by Siegel and Yalom at Stanford University (1989) found that women with metastatic breast cancer who participated in breast cancer group therapy experienced reduced anxiety and fear, better quality of life and improved coping abilities.
