Illinois Ride to Empower
If you'd like to participate in a truly exciting fundraising event, consider joining a Ride to Empower team. The Ride is a destination bike ride, with fully-supported route lengths ranging from a 100-mile century to less than 32 miles. Meet Illinois’ Ride to Empower Local Coach!
Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois (formerly Y-ME—Illinois Affiliate) is pleased to announce that we have a coach for Ride to Empower! His name is Ryan Riell and has not only volunteered to coach the Illinois Ride to Empower cycling team, but is also a member of our 2008 Pink Streak Marathon Team! Thank you, Ryan!!
Ryan is the Head Coach and Founder of Break Through Multisport Inc. You can visit his website at www.BreakThroughMultisport.com. He is a USA Triathlon and USA Cycling Certified coach and has been involved with endurance sports since 2003. He has also been named the Head Coach for the University of Illinois at Chicago Triathlon team and club.
Ryan graduated from Arizona State University in 2001 and has a Masters degree in Organic chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is currently working towards a Masters degree in Kinesiology, also at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Ryan currently resides in Lincoln Park, working with multiple short and long course triathletes in addition to operating multiple training classes throughout the Chicago area.
