Breast Cancer Network of Strength offers many opportunities for anyone who would like to help us ensure no one faces breast cancer alone. Special Events

Volunteers are always needed to assist with Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois's events, including Mother's Day events, gala parties, fundraising events, and much more. Doing so often involves sharing information about the various programs of Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois.

Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois Representative

Volunteers are needed to represent Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois at various community functions such as health fairs, volunteer fairs and community festivals. They offer basic information about Breast Cancer Network of Strength’s services and help to raise breast cancer awareness.

Advocacy

Advocacy Network Members receive alerts via e-mail, fax or phone with timely information about contacting local, state and/or federal elected officials when important breast cancer-related legislation is under consideration. >>Learn more about how you can impact breast cancer legislation.

Office and Clerical

Volunteers are needed during office hours (M-F, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) for various office projects, including mailings, word processing, filing, data entry, etc.

Breast Health Awareness Workshop Presenter

Volunteers facilitate workshop that discusses the three methods of early detection, important information about breast health and the process flow of a breast cancer diagnosis.
