Fighting breast cancer takes everything you've got - Sharon Rose lost her breast, her hair and her life to breast cancer, but she never let it take her spirit away. In her memory, the Sharon Rose Wig and Prosthesis Salon helps women retain their spirit and self-confidence after the effects of breast cancer treatments.
Wigs, hats, scarves, breast prosthetics and prosthetic bras are available at no cost to breast cancer patients with limited financial resources. A trained fitter is on staff to make sure women are properly fitted. Patients are invited to make an appointment with one of our Patient Assistants and come into the salon for a personalized fitting. While appointments are preferred, walk-ins are always welcome.
Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois depends on donations from generous individuals, organizations, and corporations to supply our Wig & Prosthesis Salon.
