Congratulations to Patti Barnes of Wetumpka, Alabama. Patti was the grand prize winner at the Life in Balance conference, taking home a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fitness courtesy of Best Buy!

Conference Highlights

• Who doesn’t love a makeover? Revlon and Walgreens were at the Mind, Body and Wellness Expo, giving out free makeovers and helping attendees look their best.
• Rick Bayless, award-winning chef and Food Network star, was at the conference, putting a new spin on an old treat: chipotle shrimp and mango guacamole!
• lucy® was at the conference and hosted a show of fun fitness fashion.
• Nordstrom's gave away a complimentary prosthesis fitting and product (breast form/bras) worth up to $400.
• Mario Tricoci professionals were on hand, answering beauty questions and helping attendees relax with a nice relaxing massage.

Robin Roberts, co-anchor of ABC News’ Good Morning America, spoke about her personal experiences with breast cancer. Rick Bayless, award-winning chef, cookbook author and television personality, gave out tips and tasty recipes. Suzanne Metzger, Ph.D., survivor and co-author of Complete Idiot’s Guide to Living with Breast Cancer, spoke on Friday. Speakers presented the latest on breast cancer treatments. Attendees participated in discussions on topics such as work life, fitness and intimacy. All were invited to laugh, cry and enjoy snacks at our cozy cinema and visit the Mind, Body and Wellness Expo.
