Outreach Assistant
This is an excellent position for pre-professionals interested in health education, nursing, and medicine. The candidate will have numerous opportunities to do community outreach at health fairs and local clinics.
Responsibilities
-
Engage community members at outreach events in the Northern California region. Maintain files for referrals and outreach events.

Communicate with local business and service organizations. Represent our organization to local clinics and disseminate program information accordingly.

Provide administrative and programmatic support to Network of Strength staff and program volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual; Spanish and Hmong preferred.

Previous experience in public relations.

Previous experience in health education.

AA/BA in education, psychology, sociology, health, or related fields desired.

This position requires a commitment of 4-20 hour per month. Hours are flexible and negotiable.
