A Day for You
Bringing Breast Health To Your Community
A program made possible by a gift from Avon Foundation, "A Day For You" is a one-day educational outreach program dedicated to breast health issues. Trained facilitators will educate participants about earlier detection methods for breast cancer: learn and practice breast self-examination (BSE), get a clinical breast examination, including a mammogram or schedule an appointment for a mammogram.
Currently, "A Day for You" is available in the Asian, African-American and Latina communities in the Texas Gulf Coast area. Breast Cancer Network of Strength Texas Gulf Coast at 713-292-1045.
